About Dr. Carls
Dr. Carls is a world-renowned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with over 30 years of experience of which 15 years at Zurich University in Switzerland. He gained recognition for his expertise in bone reconstruction for dental implants, jaw joint disorders, and other jaw-related conditions.
In addition to his training in Switzerland, Dr. Carls has studied in the United States and has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications. He regularly presents at national and international scientific conferences, delivering around five talks each year.
Previously a Consultant at the prestigious John Radcliffe Hospital, Dr. Carls now focuses on dental implants, wisdom teeth, and jaw joint problems in Oxford. In Switzerland, he also performs complex surgeries, some of which can last several hours.
